Awaken Your Roots. Reclaim Your Fire.

Lead With Soul.

Soul Rebellion is a spiritual movement, philosophy and body of work devoted to spiritual health, inner authority and ancestral responsibility. It was created for people who want a deeper relationship with Spirit without handing their authority to someone else. For people interested in intuition, ancestry, ritual, psychology, consciousness and the unseen — but who still want to keep their feet firmly on the ground.

Soul Rebellion isn't about escaping ordinary life in search of something more spiritual. It is about discovering the sacred within the life you are already living. This is spirituality rooted in responsibility and presence.

Why Soul Rebellion?

There is no shortage of people willing to tell us what to believe.

Spirituality has its gurus, formulas, hierarchies, trends and promises of enlightenment.

Psychology has its theories.

Culture gives us stories about who we're supposed to be.

Families hand us beliefs, patterns and expectations long before we're old enough to question them.

And now an algorithm can apparently diagnose your spiritual awakening before breakfast.

Soul Rebellion begins somewhere else.

With the question.

What do you actually believe? What have you experienced? What have you inherited? What deserves to be carried forward? What needs to be questioned? And what happens when you stop searching for another person to give you the answer and begin developing the capacity to discern for yourself?

This is not a rebellion against Spirit.

It is a rebellion against everything that asks you to abandon yourself in order to find it.

What Soul Rebellion Stands For

At the centre of Soul Rebellion are four principles:

Inner Authority

Your life belongs to you. Teachers can teach. Readers can read. Healers can facilitate. Ancestors can guide. Traditions can carry extraordinary wisdom. But none of them gets automatic authority over your life.

Inner authority doesn't mean believing you're always right. Quite the opposite.

It means becoming responsible enough to question yourself, seek wisdom, change your mind and ultimately take responsibility for the choices you make.

Embodiment

Spirituality has to come back into the body. Into relationships. Work. Family. Money. Sex. Grief. Joy. Boundaries. Conflict. Creativity.

And yes, occasionally the dishes.

If a spiritual practice only works while you're meditating, pulling cards or sitting in ceremony, we have more work to do.

Spirituality should help us inhabit our humanity, not escape it.

Discernment

We can be open without believing everything. We can be sceptical without becoming cynical.

We can honour intuition while asking questions.

We can experience synchronicity without needing to explain the entire universe.

We can respect ancient wisdom without pretending everything ancient was wise.

And we can say: “I don't know.”

Mystery does not require certainty.

Responsibility

Insight is only the beginning.

What matters is what happens afterwards.

How do you communicate? What do you choose? What do you repeat? What do you repair? What do you pass forward?

Spiritual responsibility asks us to consider not only what we believe, but what our beliefs produce in the way we live.

This Work Is Not About Becoming Special

It is about becoming real.

Soul Rebellion doesn't measure spiritual development by how mystical you sound. You don't need the right clothes. The right altar. The right vocabulary. The right aesthetic.

Or a social-media identity that suggests you spend every waking moment communing with the universe.

Spiritual practice becomes meaningful when it changes our relationship with ourselves, other people and the world around us. Can you stay present when things become uncomfortable?

Can you recognise the difference between intuition and fear? Can you question someone you respect?

Can you change your mind? Can you recognise your own projection?

Can you listen to your ancestors without becoming imprisoned by the past? Can you encounter mystery without needing to explain it? Can you take responsibility for the life that is actually yours?

That's the work.

The Soul Rebellion Manifesto

The Manifesto is the philosophical backbone of Soul Rebellion.

It is not a doctrine telling you what you must believe.

It's a declaration of what we're willing to question, what we choose to stand for and how we attempt to practise spirituality responsibly.

We believe spirituality should make us more present, not less.

More capable of meeting life.

More willing to question ourselves.

More conscious of what we carry.

More responsible for what we pass on.

We believe psychology and spirituality can sit at the same table.

We believe science and mystery don't have to be enemies.

We believe ancestors can carry wisdom without being perfect.

We believe spiritual experiences can be profound without assuming our first interpretation of them must be true. We believe ritual matters — but ritual without integration can become theatre. And we believe spiritual authority should ultimately lead you back toward yourself, not create dependency on another person.

The Laws of Soul Rebellion

Every rebellion needs a code.

Ours just doesn't require blind obedience to it.

The Laws of Soul Rebellion are principles for practising the philosophy in real life.

The Laws of Soul Rebellion are not commandments. They are invitations to remember — principles for living in deeper relationship with Earth, Spirit, ancestry, body and truth.

LAW ONE — I Belong to the Earth, and the Earth Belongs to Me

Belonging is not something you have to earn.

We are not separate from the Earth; we are made from her. Our bones, blood, water and breath are part of the same living system. This law calls us back into relationship with land, natural cycles and our own bodies.

To belong to the Earth is not to own her. It is to remember our kinship and responsibility to walk with care.

Soul Rebel Charge: I belong.

LAW TWO — Spirit is Sovereign

Your relationship with Spirit belongs to you.

Spirit cannot be owned by a religion, teacher, institution or hierarchy. Teachers and traditions may guide us, but they should never replace our own spiritual intelligence.

Sovereignty means learning to listen inwardly, practise discernment and develop a direct relationship with the sacred — without surrendering your authority to someone else.

Soul Rebel Charge: My spirit moves free. I am sovereign.

LAW THREE — Ancestors Walk With Me

We are living continuations of those who came before us.

Our ancestors remain present through memory, culture, blood, behaviour, strengths and inherited patterns. Ancestral work isn't about romanticising the past or carrying its burdens forever.

It is about recognising what we have inherited, honouring what deserves to continue and allowing what no longer serves the lineage to end with us.

We don't heal the past by pretending it didn't happen. We meet it consciously so the future can be different.

Soul Rebel Charge: The marrow of my bones sings with ancestral memory. I walk with them.

LAW FOUR — Shadow is Teacher, Not Enemy

Wholeness requires us to meet what we have learned to hide.

The shadow is not evil. It contains emotions, desires, memories and parts of ourselves that were suppressed, rejected or exiled in order to survive and belong.

When ignored, shadow can emerge through projection, resentment, self-sabotage and disconnection. When approached with curiosity and compassion, it becomes fertile ground for understanding and transformation.

Soul Rebellion does not ask us to defeat the darkness.

It asks us to listen to what it has been trying to teach us.

Soul Rebel Charge: I welcome the dark as soil for my becoming. I rise whole.

LAW FIVE — Love is a Sacred Rebellion

Love should liberate, not possess.

Sacred love does not require self-betrayal. It does not control, diminish or demand that we abandon ourselves in order to belong.

Love becomes rebellious when it restores dignity: when we honour our boundaries, refuse to normalise harm, love others without ownership and recognise the Earth as kin rather than resource.

True love doesn't cost you your soul.

It returns you to it.

Soul Rebel Charge: My love is seed and soil. It liberates all it touches.

LAW SIX — The Body is Holy Ground

Your body is not an obstacle to your spiritual life. It is where your spiritual life happens.

The body carries memory, instinct, pleasure, grief, trauma and wisdom. It communicates through tension, fatigue, ease, desire, contraction and expansion — often recognising truth before the conscious mind has words for it.

This law rejects the idea that spirituality requires escaping or overcoming the body.

Instead, we return to embodiment: listening to its signals, respecting its boundaries and treating the body as a living landscape worthy of care rather than shame.

Soul Rebel Charge: My body is holy. I honour its sacred ground.

These are the first six of the 13 Laws of Soul Rebellion. The path continues through Creation, Truth, Community, Ancestral Time, Death, Freedom and finally — Remembering.

And these are only the beginning.

The Work

Soul Rebellion isn't only an idea.

It's something to explore, practise and live.

There are different ways into the work depending on where you are.

Readings

Find clarity. Hear what is underneath the noise.

Intuitive readings bring together cards, intuition, spiritual insight and ancestral perspective to explore the patterns, questions and crossroads showing up in your life.

Healing

Return to yourself.

Shamanic and spiritual healing works with the body, energy, sound, ancestry and Spirit to support clearing, restoration, reconnection and deeper integration.

Courses & Deep Work

Don't just understand the work. Live it.

Guided programs create space to go further — exploring spiritual foundations, shadow, ancestry, embodiment, ritual, intuition and personal authority over time.

Soul Rebellion Community

We are not meant to rise alone.

Through the Manifesto, Lives, teachings, conversations and community spaces, Soul Rebellion offers ways to explore the work alongside others — without giving up your individuality or inner authority.

Start Where You Are

You don't have to know exactly what you need.

Read. Listen. Question. Explore.

And when something speaks to you, follow it deeper.

Who This Is For

Soul Rebellion may be for you if:

You're spiritually curious but don't want to be told what to believe.

You've had experiences you can't easily explain.

You're questioning beliefs you once accepted without thinking.

You're exploring ancestry, identity or inherited family patterns.

You want to understand intuition without losing discernment.

You're interested in the meeting place between psychology and spirituality.

You've outgrown parts of the spiritual world but haven't outgrown Spirit.

You want practice rather than performance.

Or perhaps you simply have questions.

Questions are welcome here.

What Makes This Different?

Soul Rebellion doesn't ask you to choose between being spiritual and being intelligent.

You are allowed to think. You are allowed to question.

You are allowed to believe something today and understand it differently five years from now.

You can honour your ancestors without idealising them.

You can learn from traditions without turning someone else's culture into a costume.

You can explore intuition without treating every feeling as prophecy.

You can respect science without assuming science has already answered every meaningful human question.

You can encounter mystery without abandoning common sense.

And you can work with a spiritual practitioner without giving them authority over your life.

No gurus. No hierarchy. No spiritual theatre.

Just people doing the work.

Why Join Soul Rebellion?

Because spiritual life can become strangely lonely once you stop fitting neatly into somebody else's box.

Maybe you're spiritual but uncomfortable with guru culture.

Maybe you're intuitive but don't think every thought that enters your head is a message from Spirit.

Maybe you value psychology and science and you've experienced things that neither has completely explained for you.

Maybe you're reconnecting with ancestry and trying to understand what inheritance actually means.

Maybe you're rebuilding your spiritual life after leaving another belief system behind.

Or perhaps nothing dramatic has happened.

You simply started asking:

Is there more to this?

Soul Rebellion gives those questions somewhere to live. You don't join because I have all the answers.

I don't.

You join because you want somewhere to explore the questions — through writing, conversation, practice, courses, community and your own experience. You can participate as much or as little as you choose.
